Timeframe:

Résumés, Cover Letters, and LinkedIn Profiles: Once you have completed your phone meeting, you will receive your first document within the quoted timeframe (or less, dependent on my availability). Express turnaround time (within 4 days) may be available for an additional fee. Let me know when you need it! Do you have a job posting you need to apply to ASAP? I can work with that.

You will have 21 days to provide feedback on any edits you require. After the 21 days, it’s up to you to make edits or changes.

Career Exploration: Sessions must be completed within 3 months of booking. This makes sure you are moving forward and being active in your exploration. Most Career Exploration takes 4-5 sessions.

Résumé Format:

Résumés will be made, from scratch, in Word. I will send you a word document and a pdf, so that if they look different, you can tell me. Sometimes Google Docs or Macs change the formatting. If this happens, let me know and we’ll work around it.

Quality Guarantee:

I guarantee that you will be satisfied with your new résumé and cover letter. I work hard to ensure that the résumé sounds like you and also describes your accomplishments, results and work in a professional manner. If you are not happy with the final draft of your résumé, please let me know within 14 days of being given the final version and we will work together towards satisfaction.

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee the documents produced will gain you interviews (they usually do!) due to factors beyond our control, although you will have much higher chances with these documents.

Payment:

All services require prepayment before work begins. You will not receive any additional charges without me letting you know and only with your agreement. (e.g. additional assessments in career coaching). Payments may be made by e-transfer or PayPal.

Refund Policy:

If you’re not happy with my services, please let me know and I will do as much as I can to make it better. If we can’t work together further, I will partially refund your fee, dependent on hours put into the project. You will receive anything I have done to that point.

Privacy:

Anything we talk about is purely for the purposes of writing your résumé/ cover letter, coaching services or career exploration. None of your information is shared with anyone else.

I may ask you for permission to use your résumé / cover letter etc. for marketing but will only do so if you give me permission.

I will only break confidentiality IF: I am concerned for your safety, a child / vulnerable person’s safety or if I am legally required to do so. (Standard counseling confidentiality ethics)

Client Responsibility and Engagement:

You have to do the work. I will write you an amazing résumé, but if you’re not job searching actively, the résumé will not help you. I am not responsible for any external impacts such as the local and global labour market. If you have not received interview invitations after 3 months of a consistent, quality job search, please get in touch.
